The singer started off with a moving, acoustic rendition of “As Long As You Love Me,” with lyrics that seemed especially timely given his recent split from Selena Gomez.

Justin Bieber Will NOT Be Charged For Paparazzi Photographer Incident

Justin Bieber will not be charged for his scuffle with a paparazzi photographer in Los Angeles last May.

The pop star encountered the photog after leaving a movie theater with Selena Gomez on May 27, and although reports of what actually transpired were conflicting, police asked prosecutors to consider filing a misdemeanor battery charge against Bieber.

But investigators found no evidence of visible injuries to the paparazzo, nor were any eyewitness accounts able to corroborate the claim that Bieber had hit or kicked the man, who called 911 and filed a police report.

Therefore, the Los Angeles District Attorney will NOT be filing criminal charges against Bieber.

Justin Bieber Opens Up on Selena Gomez, Marriage, Being Depressed on Next Chapter

Justin Bieber talked about dating Selena Gomez and the possibility of getting married in a revealing pre-split interview on “Oprah’s Next Chapter.”

In the intimate chat, which aired Sunday but was taped weeks before the couple called it quits, 18-year-old Bieber spoke about his desire to get married by age 25.

“We’ll see when I get there. I’m not there yet,” Bieber said of his goal.

But when Oprah discouraged the idea and told him to enjoy his twenties, the pop star conceded that he “should probably listen” to her.

And even though the singer’s mom was the age he is now when she gave birth to him, Bieber said, “I couldn’t imagine having a baby right now. It’d be crazy. I’m not ready for that.”

When asked about Gomez, Bieber unabashedly praised his then-girlfriend.

“I feel like she’s one of the most genuine people,” he said. “She just has a good heart. I can talk to her about everything.”

Bieber also opened up about the price of fame, only having three “really close friends,” and sometimes being “lonely” and “depressed.”

Justin Bieber Booed at CFL Grey Cup Halftime Show? (VIDEO)

Justin Bieber performed at halftime of the Grey Cup on Sunday, but fans at the Canadian Football League championship game in Toronto were less than enthusiastic about the pop star.

After reportedly booing The Biebs when his picture was shown on the JumboTron, the crowd booed again during his renditions of “Boyfriend” and “Beauty and a Beat.”

It’s difficult to discern the boos in footage from the television broadcast of the game (videos below), but it’s certainly true that the teen idol was not performing for his typical audience when he stepped on stage midway through the clash between the Toronto Argonauts and Calgary Stampeders.

But if Bieber felt snubbed, he didn’t indicate it on Twitter.

“Honored to perform for my country,” tweeted the singer right after the show. “#ProudCanadian. Good luck in the second half, thanks.”

Justin Bieber might be making Selena Gomez sick, claims In Touch.

The tabloid says the drama surrounding the on-and-off couple “is affecting Selena, both emotionally and physically.”

As evidence, In Touch cites Gomez’s recent hospital visit for a sore throat.

“She’s made three trips to a health care facility in just the past year, and the stress of her tumultuous relationship with Justin is getting to her,” explains an “insider” for the magazine.

Wait, so going to the doctor three times in 12 months means Gomez is “at the breaking point,” as the tabloid alleges?

According to the In Touch source, “Nothing ignites Selena’s health issues like Justin’s immaturity. Selena’s devastated. It’s sad.”

And even if the couple makes a long-term reconciliation, Gomez’s health is at risk while Bieber’s on tour, claims the mag.

“She’s having a hard time dealing with the distance between her and Justin,” a different “source” tells In Touch.

The tab’s insider declares, “The best thing for everyone is for Selena to focus on her health and for Justin to either be 100-percent devoted to her or end it. This can’t go on.”

Nor can the tabloid’s outlandish claims about Bieber and Gomez.

There’s been a lot of empty speculation in the gossip press about the stars in the past few weeks, but alleging that Bieber is pushing Gomez to the brink in terms of her physical wellness is making us a bit nauseous.

In Touch and other outlets are in the business of reading extra meaning into every little thing either Bieber or Gomez does, which is how her completely unrelated medical issue last week is being turned into a Bieber story.

A source close to the actress tells Gossip Cop there’s “absolutely no truth” to the report.

It’s curtains for one of Tinseltown’s cutest couples. Start your engines, Beliebers: The blogosphere is buzzing with the dish that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have split.

“They broke up about a week ago. Because of their crazy schedules, it was getting harder and harder to maintain a relationship,” an informant told People magazine Friday.

Bieber, 18, and Gomez, 20, went public with their romance in February 2011. The teen twosome made headlines when they showed up hand and hand at the star-studded Vanity Fair Oscars Afterparty.

Selena made no reference to a breakup during her recent interview withCosmopolitan magazine but did touch on dealing with Bieber’s notoriously rabid fans:

“I adore his fans. I would never, ever want to disrespect them. You know, I get it.”

In news that should surprise absolutely no one, the teen heartthrob is wasting no time putting himself back on the market. Bieber raised eyebrows on Thursday night when he was seen at a showing of Broadway’s The Lion King with 19-year-old Victoria’s Secret model Barbara Palvin. The “Boyfriend” singer met the budding catwalker when he performed at the 2012 VS Show the night before.

Bieber revealed how people can help the organization’s Schools4All campaign and win some great prizes at the same time.

Newly-Single Selena Gomez Steps Out Without Justin Bieber

Selena Gomez dazzled at Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards in New York City on Monday night, seemingly showing ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber exactly what he’s missing in the wake of their recent split.

The newly single Selena was all smiles as she walked the red carpet in a white, lacy peplum dress with a deep v-neck and matching pumps. The magazine’s December cover girl also brought the sass, posing in more than a few light-hearted poses.

“Selena broke up with Justin about a week ago. It’s been a really challenging experience over the last year because of their crazy schedules,” an insider told Us Weekly over the weekend. “Selena definitely had some major trust issues with Justin.”

The pair have reportedly been on a romantic rollercoaster — and faced more than a couple break up rumors through their two-year courtship.

One of those rumours started when Justin shot an episode of MTV Punk’d with Miley Cyrus earlier this year. Snoopsters tell RadarOnline.com that Selena was furious and it was the first time the couple broke up.

“Justin did the show anyways, which didn’t sit very well with Selena. He’s been continually choosing work over Selena and she’s finally had enough.”

This time around some very sexy Angels might be to blame. Selena reportedly lost it when she saw photos of Justin surrounded by sexy models at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last week.

Justin Bieber Extends Believe Tour Into Summer 2013, Adds 30 Shows

Beliebers will have 30 more chances to see Justin Bieber on his Believe tour next year.

The sold-out concert tour has been extended into summer 2013, it was announced on Monday.

Among the new dates are a stop at Brookyln’s new Barclays Center, three shows in Bieber’s native Ontario, and back-to-back nights in Los Angeles.

The tour was originally scheduled to end in late January, but will now resume in June and go through the beginning of August.

Bieber promises to donate $1 from each ticket sold to Pencils of Promise, which is working to build 15 schools around the world for children in need.

Justin Bieber Defends Meeting Canadian Prime Minister in Overalls (Still Gets Booed by Football Fans)

After catching a bit of flack for meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper in a decidedly casual pair of overalls, Justin Bieber took to Instagram over the weekend to explain himself.

The superstar was snapped in his home country last week accepting a Diamond Jubilee Medal from the PM. But the Biebs’ choice of wardrobe dominated most of the conversation across the Web.

Bieber wrote in response to a Daily Mail journalist, who called the move as “white trash:”

“The pic of me and the Prime Minister was taken in a room in the arena where I was performing at that day. I walked straight from my meet and greet to him…It wasn’t like it was like I was going into his environment, we were at a hockey arena. Wow am I ever white trash.”

Google has just released its year-end most searched lists, and 2012 belonged to Honey Boo Boo.

MOST SEARCHED LISTS BELOW

The pint-size pageant queen dominated online searches in the United States this year in two major Google categories, Reality TV Stars and TV Shows, thanks to her eponymous reality show.

Justin Bieber’s hit “Boyfriend” was the Most Searched Song, while his brief split from Selena Gomez topped searches for Celebrity Break-Ups.

Google also examined the volume of 2012 searches, and how long they “trended,” and determined that worldwide queries for the late Whitney Houston had the “highest amount of traffic over a sustained period in 2012 as compared to 2011.”

ABC Developing Justin Bieber Sitcom

The suits at ABC are developing a television sitcom based on Justin Bieber’s rise from a teen YouTube sensation to the biggest heartthrob to hit pop since the Beatles.

The Alphabet Network is collaborating with the “Baby” hitmaker on a project that will focus on Bieber’s life before popular online videos of the pint-sized pop tart crooning attracted the attention of singing stars Usher and Justin Timberlake — and ultimately, a recording contract. Entourage executive producers Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi have been tapped to write the script.

Justin, 18, and his manager Scooter Braun will act as producers on the program, TV Guide said Friday.

Justin Bieber Murder Plot Foiled: Report

Justin Bieber was reportedly the target of a murder plot hatched by a man currently in prison for two life sentences.

Investigators say convicted killer Dana Martin, who is described as “obsessed” with Bieber, recruited a former inmate named Mark Staake and his nephew Tanner Ruane to carry out four murders, including a hit on the pop star and his bodyguard last month.

The details of the plan are grisly, as reported by KRQE in Albuquerque.

Martin, who’s in prison for raping and killing a teenage girl in 2000, allegedly directed Staake and Ruane to murder two acquaintances in Vermont before heading to New York to kill Bieber.

According to the plan, Staake and Ruane were to strangle their would-be victims with paisley ties and castrate them.

But Martin, who reportedly has a Bieber tattoo on his leg, is said to have played a role in foiling his own plot, helping to turn in his co-conspirators for reasons that still are not clear.

The shocking plot unraveled after Staake was arrested on outstanding warrants in Vermont.

Ruane was busted in New York with “murder tools and pruning shears.”

In phone conversations recorded by police, Ruane is said to have expressed disappointment that he was unable to fulfill the murder plot.

What a horrifying story.

Following the pop star’s Jingle Ball performance in Atlanta this week, The Biebs was greeting a group of screaming fans when he decided to hand one of them an unexpected gift — his pet hamster PAC.

Grainy footage of the exchange has surfaced, in which Bieber is seen passing PAC’s cage to a fan later identified as Victoria McClure of Albertville, Alabama.
While it’s not easy to decipher everything that’s said, Bieber is heard instructing her, “You gotta take care of PAC!”
“I swear I’ll take care of him!” promises McClure.
